im going with my a group of people yea so hopefully they will look after me i would be heartbroken if i couldnt go it means so much that i am going even if i am risking my health for an avril concert but isnt it worth it ? its goona be so amazing i cannot wait but one day i want to meet her soo i am saving up for a VIP ticket for next time i was too late this time around but i wouldnt no what to say just stand there like a weirdo lol :D i wish she did 2 manchester ones and did the appollo cos they are much nicer than the MEN staff as you said before about your son
That's pretty crap of them, I mean it's not like you knew this was happening. I'm glad you are going tho, you'd probably be gutted if you missed it. Are you going with a bunch of friends? If so, they can look after you and make sure you don't get knocked :-)
hey thanks for your reply ive been trying to get help from all Avril fans and i rang the MEN and they told the only thing they could do was to exchange my tickets for seated tickets that are avalible now i was like is that all you can give me and they said access to wheel chair bit which is right at the back but at this moment in time ive had just about enough of being told that i wont get good seats or might not have to go which i am denfenlty going ive been waiting 4 years and my time has come so i am just going to risk it and hobble without my crutches cos ive waited so long and the MEN were useless on the phone to me i even emailed later that week and still got the same reply.
Sorry to hear about your knee. I had the same problem last year, I went to see Good Charlotte at the Apollo with my son, who had broke his leg since purchasing the tickets. He was on crutches with a full leg cast on but the staff there were great, let us walk straight in and showed us to a platform area for disabled and wheel chair users (even brought my son a seat). I had a look on the MEN arena website and found this under 'accesibility'..... "Additional services such as the use of 'house' wheelchairs for easy access purposes and assistance from our Stewards to help customers reach their seats "
If you give the arena staff a call, they'll give you more info, and will probably let you straight in so you're not in pain standing in the queue. Hope this helps.
hey i was wondering do any of your guys know i could attend avril's concert as i got 2 standing tickets for Christmas and me and my brother are attending the concert but recently i have fallen and broken my kneecap and just had surgrey to repair my knee and i will be still on crutchs for avrils concert but i wont be able to stand in the standing due to soo many people incase it get knocked any help from anyone would be helpful as its soo gutting knowing i wont be able to go and its not fair ive waitied since 2004 to go and now its looking like i cant and i dont want to buy a seated ticket as all the good seats have sold out and now the upper section at manchester UK is selling which i dont want :((:(:(
any advice would help and even buying a VIP ticket would have helped me as you get good seats but too late :'(
