Yeah, it would be awsome if there was a second concert and if the Fan Club could get pre-sale before anyone else - hint hint avril! My daughter would give up tickets (if she had some) just to be able to meet and greet Avril. So Avril if you your listening call me :) I'll even dye my whole body pink to get that opportunity for my daughter!!!!!

Truth hurts
I am referring to the adults 30 years and up, who are whining about not getting tickets.
I hear them at Tim Horton's, it's all over this site, and both of Avril's Facebook sites.
People are sending hate e-mail to others on Kijiji. I understand that most of her 'true' fans are generally under the age of 25. I myself, am a fan, as is my 12 year old. Would I have bothered getting tickets if my daughter didn't like Avril? Probably not.
The younger generation is upset, yes, and rightfully so.
What I am referring to are the adults who are making a bigger deal out of it than the kids! Some of my daughter's friends were not able to get tickets, and are disappointed, however the parents (especially some mothers) are absolutely livid!
They are complaining about "some guy is selling 11 tickets at outrageous prices..." and "there are people selling tickets on ebay". Someone asks, why aren't they being charged with scalping? Because no one has reported them to ebay & Kijiji. If it upsets you so much, do something, don't just complain about how unfair life is.
Many parents are blowing this WAY out of proportions, for the simple fact that this is happening on the heels of the "Elton-Gate scandal". People were scalping tickets to his concert, but nobody complained, because it was easier to complain about the councillors getting tickets. That fiasco still needs to be rectified.
All I'm saying, is let's be happy the concert sold out so quickly, maybe the promoter will bring more concerts to our small little city in the North more often. But f a media frenzy, and public uproar occurs every time....who knows if they'll want to come back any time soon.

Why do people come on here just to be rude??? That whole comment about grow up and life isn't fair??? People are on the Avril website because they love her, and are understandably disappointed that they couldn't get tickets. There isn't alot to do in Sudbury and this is a very HUGE concert. They aren't hurting anyone by typing this, so why do you care so much?? Maybe you should teach your daughter if you don't have something nice to say...Don't say it at all!!

OMG! I cannot believe how many parents are whining and complaining about the situation with the tickets here in Sudbury.
Grow up! I have had to teach my daughter that life isn't always fair. She has missed out on many activities, concerts, events, experiences, etc. in the past, for the simple fact that we couldn't always afford it, or weren't lucky enough to get tickets.
This time, we got lucky. We got 4 tickets.
Would I spend $250 for two in order to go? Probably. If I couldn't afford it, oh well! Life isn't fair.
Also, tickets were 59.00 + 3.50 convenience fee = $62.50.
If you're not willing to pay the price people are asking, buy tickets for the Toronto show the following day (floor seats are $88.00 with all the additional fees tacked on.) Then you can spend 8+ hours to drive there and back (and pay for the gas in your car), lose a day's work, etc...
Stop trying to make everyone else feel bad about getting tickets. Are there greedy people out there? Sure! Will there always be people like that in the world? Definitely. Our children need to be prepared to deal with these situations as adults.
If any of you had made it to the front of that line, and gotten extra tickets, you too would be selling them to the highest bidder. If you say you wouldn't -- you're lying to yourself. I know what I would do with the money - take care of my kid!

I know if you go and check out www.kijiji.ca they have tickets for sale there's one guy bought 11 tickets just so he can go online and sell them and there are alot of other people selling extra tickets they got. I emailed him and he wanted 500.00$ for two tickets. My 6 yr old is also very disappointed that we didn't get tickets and we tried every way possible but I can't afford that kind of money.

My 7 year old is so upset as we were unable to get tickets for the show . She thought for sure we would get tickets . My 7 year old idealizes Avril as they have the same last name and same birthday . I bought my 7 year old a karaoke machine for christmas and the Avril karaoke cd and she knows the words almost off by heart . So please if there is anyone out there with 2 extra tickets I would sure love to buy them . Thank you .

about 2 and half hours
if i remember correctly it was about 2 and half hours from start to finish. it flies by. that was 2 yrs ago or so at the aircanada centre that we saw her. it really was an amaizing show. my daughter was 8 when we went and we left 2 songs before it ended to go and get t shirts and stuff. by then she had enough but we were in the mosh pit (at the front) thanks to an amazing security guard who felt bad we paid 500 bucks for the meet and greet and then were going to have to stand at the back. after the meet and greet he told us to find him and i did and he let us in the front right by the stage. it was awesome.

Hey there does anyone know how long her concert usually is?? I've got tickets for tomorrow night in Toronto and am bringing 2 young kids....it would be incredibly helpful to know in advance how long it is suppose to be. Thanks

being that she is from a small town herself, she should empathize with all the kids who didnt get tickets. i know 11 kids right on my street that are very dissapointed. my daughter is one of the lucky ones and is going, but there are so many little hearts out there that are broken. maybe we should start a petition to come a seconed time. did you notice that she is playing with the jonas brothers in newyork just before this concert? do you think we would be lucky enough to have them here as well?

She should come a second time like Nickle Back did becasue of the size of our arena & the number of people that want to go see her. Her last stop is Toronto so it's just a 3 hr drive back for another sellout concert.

I was so excited to here that Avril was coming to Sudbury. It's a close enough drive for me to get too. I had my husband waiting in the virtual room for tickets. I honestly didn't care what seats we got either. When I came home, he said that while waiting in the room, he got the message that they were all sold out. Kind of disappointing. Maybe she can think about doing a concert in Sault Ste Marie. Maybe then I can get tickets.

radio station
radio station in sudbury had pre concert tickts to be avaiable to members.one girl that i work with was able to get 5 tickets in advance.it was not BIG Daddy radio station(103.9) how fair is that.?

I was disappointed you couldn't buy tickets ahead of time on this site. I have been to every concert so far this year in Sudbury. Not this one though. I am in a couple of fanclub sites and have never had a problem buying tickets before they went on sale. Too bad you can't on this fan club site. Not fair for more dedicated fans. I have every CD and have supported her career from day one. Never download, also pay for everything. Lot of good it does for the fans.

we tried to get tickets too, I only got to pick section and typed in code numbers than was told server too busy. So looks like we're going to Toronto on Monday now....we were able to get 4 tickets to Monday nights show. The only problem is now I'm bringing my 2 year old with us.....hopefully won't be too bad. He loves all of her songs and head bangs to them so I'm sure he'll love it.

Sudbury Concerts
Has nothing to do with who runs the arena. It is the people who run the concerts. Do you think Sudbury would deny making a ton of cash with more popular people coming here. Trust me, not too many people in Sudbury positions like that, get off their asses to do anything for the people in this community. Look at the roads and conditions of schools nowadays. No interest. So if someone can make cash by someone else doing all the work, then that is exactly what happens. I have also heard that Kid Rock, Alanis Morrisette, and possibly Bon Jovi are coming soon.

actually i went to pick up my tickets this am around 10 and there were 3 men sitting in their lawn chairs, waiting for tickets, they were middle aged as well i assume they are good dads and holding line for kids or really good husbands and getting tickets for their wives. its crazy.. no one ever comes here, and this year we have had 2 amazing concerts and many more to come. way to go man who runs the arena!!!

apparently the radio presale sold out in less then 30 minutes. i dont think the anticpated such a huge reaction. come on now its AVRIL LAVIGNE!! I also got 8 tickets. 4 in floor and floor seats!!!! yeah me. she puts on such a good show. we saw her in toronto 2 and half years ago. she has so much energy on stage. I like the fact that my daughter is 10 and loves her, and im 30- something and love her music as well. just an added bonus that she is canadian.
