I've been reading many of the comments and am very disappointed in all those bashing Avril(why do you have to be so negative? There's so much negativity in the world today).
If you'd bother to read or listen to or watch the news it was on doctor's orders she was forced to cancel her shows. I repeat on doctors orders. NOT Avril's choice. She has to rest her voice. People get sick as others have said.
She's not faking being sick. People who work and talk and sing on TV, radio and in concerts get sick and lose their voice. I've often heard many DJs say they weren't on-air because they lost their voice. Same with Avril. As others have said it happens.
If you're a real Avril Lavigne fan you will be disappointed true she cancelled her concert appearance. So would I. But a real Avril Lavigne fan would also understand and be supportive of her and want her to rest her voice so next time she won't have to cancel any concerts.
To those of you whining and complaining about her why the hell did you even join this site? This is a site for fans of Avril Lavigne. This is not a Let's Bash Avril and Let's Try To Make Her Look Bad Site..

is avril really cancelled cause i found on other things her show was posponed

Your comments about not being notified of the cancelled shows & the complaints of there being no signs at the concert location are STUPID, RIDICULOUS AND UNCALLED FOR!!

Avril would not be responsible for those things. Her managers and the location staff are responsible for doing those types of things. Avril does not work at the concert location, she's not the one that would have hung signs DUH !! As for sending email notification or some other advance notice ... HOW WOULD THEY DO THAT!! Do you have some idea in your heads that THEY have YOUR contact info? That would be a LITTLE creepy don't you think !?

Lay off Avril, what you are blaming her for and complaining to her about was not her responsibility!! She pushed herself to do the Vegas show and could not push herself any farther for a few days! Have you never been sick? Have you never pushed yourself too hard, to the point where your body could not do anymore? If you're not old enough to understand pushing yourself like that, you will be someday.

Avril we LOVE you, your music AND your dedication!! KEEP ROCKIN' !!!!!!!

Makes me sick when people say "omg wats wrong wit u avril why u didnt reschedulez?!" Seriously, give her a break. She didn't WANT to cancel the show and she didn't WANT to get sick. She just as unhappy as we are.

Do you guys know what funny is, I dreamt about one day before that Avril will cancel this show.

And the other crazy thing is, I felt very faint last weeks. And my voice sucks sometimes. No matter what Avril does, I feel it too – and that SUCKS.

I don’t know what’s going on here, and how Avril is telling me how to live me live – without to know me, but I have to get out of here – somehow!

I feel addicted to her, and that makes me SICK. Can I start my own LIFE? PLEASE AVRIL, LET ME GO, or let my stay with you. But please stop being in my life all time and changing my way. It’s not even love, feels more like (as I said) addicted to her.

Fact is, if she keeps being in my head and live, I will never be happy. I tried EVERYTHING, does anyone know how to remove avril in my mind?

Well, a very scary women told my once “You need to meet her, it’s very important”! GET A LIFE. How can I meet her if I don’t feel ready for that. That’s the reason why she had to cancel ANY concert I wanted to go to. In this point, SORRY AVRIL.

plzz think about re scudueling the az concert. I got the tickets for Christmas and I was going to take my friend and my mom was going to take hers. I was looking forward to it for like 7 months i talked about it all the time. When I got the tickets i was soo happy they were really good seats too. I was going to have soo much fun that day to because we had a feild trip and then i was going to go to the concert. I got my braces that day to and i was going to the concert so i would feel better. When i heard it was cancelled i cried. So it would me soo much for me and all of your fans here if you could re scuduele it!!

ok this is abby and i dont think that it was really nice to not reschedule this concert, and it was going to be my first concert. k my mom got these for me for my birthday back in the beginning of november and she got me pit tickets. me my mom and my older sister were going to be in the pit.i found out when i was watching the news on channel 10 and when i heard i cryed my eyes out. to get the pit tickets, that could be the only thing that i got for my 11th birthday, but since it was cancled now i have nothing for my birthday.oh, wait my mom said that she would give me the money witch was 70 dollars PER ticket, so thats 210 dollars that i get now. YYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! I guess thats good because now i get to spend the money for my birthday. well i got to go avril lavigne but i hope you think about what i wrote and like what 1,000 other people wrote and decide to reschedule the concert so i can enjoy my first concert ( mabey ) and i was so excited i practiced all the words and could not wait then when the day before the consert came they said that the consert was cancled and at first i thought it was a joke. well yes i will have fun spending the money, SO U HAVE FUN RUNNING AROUND FAKING THAT U HAVE LYRENJITUS OR WHAT IT IS SO IF YOU ARE REALY SICK, I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER

But before i dated him, i used to date his best friend, and the best friend dumped me because i was a little annoying. i was there i wish avril would of canceled her show, i relize the hard core performer she is. but i also seen her in cleveland detroit london, she was smoking hot in those shows. we are human and we get sick. to all fans dont dish her she is a hard worker and she truly wants the best for her fans. to avril keep rocking get better soon. you have a great pasion for music and your live show. i really hope you go back to your old band i watch dvd and it seems like you miss them. why did they not tour with you this time avril ? can you explain this very curious here .

I bought my ticket for the San Diego show months ago, I was looking forward to seeing her for the first time in 4 years. Then the first cancelled show of her career happens. It's really lame. I'm extremely disappointed, words cannot describe it. But to all you people that keep asking if it is going to be rescheduled, or begging for it to be...what part of this bulletin DON'T you understand? The sole reason for this statement is to let everyone know that they will not reschedule either show. I highly doubt it was ever even an option. There is a few week gap in her touring schedule, now I do not know what is planned during that gap, but I'm sure they could squeeze 2 concerts in there if they really wanted to. Or even reschedule for much later this year, after the European tour. But they would rather just cut their losses. I have been a loyal Avril fan for years, despite the new album not being very good. Maybe not rescheduling the shows was her call, and maybe it wasn't. If it was, then it doesn't seem like she cares about crushing thousands of fans that paid good money to see her. If she really cared, she would figure out a way to make it up. After all, isn't seeing her live worth more than getting the money back?

Several fans have asked this already, I know, but would it be possible for you to return to Arizona later in your tour for a rescheduled show? It would mean the world to all of your HUGE fans here in Arizona if you could reschedule your show in Phoenix. I have many, many friends who I know were super psyched for this concert, and although we realize that you didn't choose to get sick, we were really saddened by the news of a cancellation. It's even more unfortunate that were not able to do the show tonight seeing as today was such a nice day weather-wise for an outdoor concert.

I've been listening to your music ever since "Sk8r Boi" and "Complicated." (At the time I was only 8, so I guess you could say I've grown up listening to ur stuff!) I know that you're extremely busy w/ the tour and all sorts of other things, but maybe, when you're feeling better and have more energy, you could make it back to rock out with some of your biggest fans!

Avril, this soooo sux that you got sick! i've been waiting for like ever to see you in concert! My parents bought me concert tickets for christmas and they were pretty good seats too. I wuz so upset when I saw that it wuz cancelled. I cried for like 30 minutes... Sad huh? You have always been my FAVORITE artist since like,...4ever!!!! So please, reschedule your show in AZ. We are sorry you are ill and understand you need time to recupe. Nasty flu this year. My daughter cried when she heard the news. I bought tix to your Phoenix concert for my daughter as a birthday gift to her. She has been a fan of your music for years. We planned to fly into Phoenix from Salt Lake and booked a hotel room and rented a car. We were so looking forward to it. We had great seats and, I'm sure, will be missing a great show. We hope you will consider rescheduling or adding a show as we are unlikely to get similar seats in another venue at fair market value at this late date and would love to see The Best Damn Tour. Get well soon.
